We’re an Australian company providing photo booths to businesses to enable fun.
We manufacture all of our booths here in Perth, Western Australia out of predominately Australian products made by Australians.
A large emphasis has been to keep the booths as Australian as possible, even our company name is “Eureka” – which is an Australian slang for “Hooray” and also a famous conquest called “Eureka Stockade” which happened on December 6th 1954. We launched Eureka Photo Booths on December 6th 2019 as well to connect our roots back to a battle of people who were fighting for their rights in the goldfields of Ballarat.
Peter Dancewicz, who is the owner of Eureka Photo Booths has been in the photography and photo booth industry since 2003. His 1st photo booth was a Canon Selphy which he used at weddings and provided prints on the night to guests from a DSLR camera (Canon 20D). This was pretty advanced at the time as photo booths weren’t really popular or around at the time – and the ones that were available were big fixed structures that required a trailer.
All materials are Australian as much as possible, we even make all of our bags for equipment here in Perth. We could get it made cheaper in China but we want to keep our Australian people employed and we provide superior quality products. Naturally most electronics are made overseas and some components, which we can’t help, so we need to buy them in. We even manufacture our custom made top hats to keep the legs in place on our GIF booths her in Perth.
We’re very proud to manufacture in Australia, and we give the software choice to our customers, so they can operate on anything they like.
